Al Hamad stays in race after win over Ibsons

Al Hamad opened the Group A wide open after inflicting the first defeat on Ibsons in the Al Hamad Contracting division-one tournament.
Kasim Butt grabbed five wickets and Azhar Gul stroked 87 for them to emerge winners by six wickets and take their tally to four points from three matches in the five-team group at the Zayed stadium.
Ibsons taking first lease of the wicket posted 295 with Abdul Rahman Qadir paving the way with a top score of 94. The one-drop batsman hit 11 fours and a six before falling to Kasim, who returned with five for 56 from 8.3 overs.
Emirates Cricket Board Blues remain as the only unbeaten team in the group with three wins from three games followed by Emirates Islamic Bank, who are also on six, but completed all their matches. Al Hamad and Ibsons are on four each with two games still to play.
Shaiman Butt blasted 137 to steer Yogi Group to a 179-run win over Phoenix Medicine. Yogi''s second win in four games keeps their hopes alive in Group B behind William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana, who top the group having completed their matches unbeaten..
Shaiman hit 17 fours and three sixes, and shared a 151-run stand for the fourth wicket with Vikrant Shetty, who hit a breezy 80 with 11 fours and a couple of sixes for Yogi to rack up 335 for six in 40 overs.
New Medical Centre were sent to the brink after they crashed to 72-run defeat to Tyger in the same group.
