
Coaches
The MCC Zayed Cricket Academy currently has 200 students who attend training sessions every weekend. They are coached by a team of nine full-time internationally qualified coaches, not to mention the support of MCC coaching staff, and guest players who visit the stadium and Academy frequently.

Qazi Mohammed Ayub
Level 2 Coach
Sport Medicine and Physical Training Course from ACC (2006-07)

Sandeep Dhuri
Level 2 Tutor Cricket Coaching course (Thailand 2010)
Former Indian first class cricketer who has represented the UAE national team on several occasions as well as leading the NMC Team in UAE First division during his 18 years playing in the Gulf. He has also coached the successful ZCA Under-16 team in recent years.

Shahzad Khan
Level 1 Coach
Played first-class cricket in Pakistan for many years and represented the UAE National Team on several occasions. At club level he played for UNB for many years, and still plays these days on occasion for UBL. He has coached the ZCA Under-14 team that toured England in 2010.

Yogesh Mistry
Level 1 Coach (ICC 2009)
During his career he played first class cricket in India before moving to UAE and playing his club cricket for NMC for 16 years. During that time he played for the UAE National team in 2002-03. These days he coaches at the ZCA.

Habib Ur Rehman
Level 1 Coach (Global Academy ICC)
Played Patrons Trophy and Lahore Division in Pakistan before moving to the UAE and playing Bukhatir League until 2002.

Dayananda Bangera
Level 1 Coach ACC
An illustrious playing career that has seen him represent UAE in Asia Cup and Wills Cup, Goa in the Ranji Trophy, Mangalore University, Hyderabad Blues, Air India and NMC Cricket Team from 1990-1997.

Imran Zia
LEVEL 1 Coach (ICC Global Cricket Academy 2009, ACC Bahrain 2008)
Played First Class Cricket in Pakistan, captain of B.W.P (Under-14s, 16s, 19s), captain of ADNOC Distribution Cricket Team in Abu Dhabi.

Khaif Ghaury
Level 1 Coach (UK)
Played First Class cricket for Lahore city. Also played WAPDA, UAE National Team, NMC and UBL.

Mohamed Nasir Siddiqui
Level 1 Coach (Singapore 2003), Level 2 (Pakistan 2006), Cricket Tutor Coaching Course in Pakistan
Played First class cricket in Pakistan as well as representing the UAE National Team in the ACC Trophy, Asia Cup, ICC World Cup qualifiers and 6 Nations Trophy. Has also toured UK with the ZCA and currently plays for UBL in the domestic leagues.

Amith Passela
Asian Cricket Council Level-1 in 2007 and Sussex County Cricket Club specialised training in 2010.
Played at school level for Carey College and at the club level in division-three, but It was rugby and hockey that I chose to pursue, representing CH&FC at the premier division and Colombo at the provincial level in Sri Lanka. In Abu Dhabi, played cricket at division-two from 1992. Also represented the school in athletics, swimming, boxing and football, and since 1971 when selected to the school teams, I have been involved in sports as a player, coach/physical trainer, administrator and sports writer.
Facilities
The MCC Zayed Cricket Academy was established in 2005 and has since evolved into a world-class international facility that has recently signed an association agreement with the MCC, the oldest cricket club in the world.
As part of it's commitment to creating a truly world class facility in which to learn the game of the cricket the MCC Zayed Cricket Academy is not only one of the most advanced Academies in the region, it boasts facilities that are unmatched across the globe.
Located next to the Zayed Cricket Stadium the Academy is accessible by car or complimentary bus service. The unrivalled facilities include:
